Childcare Costs: A Lifelong Investment
For many, having a family means budgeting. Budgeting means avoiding out of pocket expenses where possible, especially extra, avoidable costs. At Young Academics, we ensure that childcare expenses are considered an investment rather than a financial burden. Investing money in childcare means that you assist in the lifelong process of learning for your child; a burden never too hard for us to hold here at Young Academics.
Young Academics provides access to quality learning programs prior to formal schooling. This access provides an insight into relevant learning processes, decreasing the chances of educational vulnerability for your child. Giving your child an opportunity to adapt to a learning environment prior to formal schooling gives them a sense of familiarity and comfort, allowing them to focus on increasing learning, rather than all the other factors involved with schools such as adapting to social settings, coping with being parent-free, and learning to be independent.
How much does childcare cost?
Finding affordable childcare costs is no easy task. With various locations scattered around Sydney, Young Academics will no doubt be able to provide information on childcare fees, pending on:
- Hours/days per week required
- Child Care Subsidy Eligibility
A common misconception is that the higher the price, the better the childcare. Let it be known that Young Academics philosophy places families at the forefront and acknowledges the need for affordable childcare throughout the Sydney region. Our facilities, programs and resources are pioneered by the finest industry experts and are specially sourced by our professional team members. This makes known that giving our children access to high-quality learning, both in resources and facilities, can assist against any developmental stalling or halts. Child Care Subsidy: What is it?
Formerly known as Child Care Rebate, the Childcare Subsidy Scheme is the Australian Government initiative which contributes to covering costs associated with childcare. Alike Young Academics, the government acknowledges the importance of investing money in your child’s learning, offering a means to alleviate the financial strain by minimising your out of pocket expenses. Some benefits of Child Care Subsidy include:
- 36-hour rebate per fortnight per child attending kindergarten/preschool programs in the year prior to school (for families with an income of less than $350,000 p.a.).
This is obviously great news for you-you are more than likely entitled to receive generous payments, reducing out of pocket expenses, to offset daycare costs of attending preschool at a Young Academics Early Learning Centre.
